BeatBoard is an Auckland-based electronic music events platform operated under the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).
What we collect
- Newsletter subscribers: Email address and chosen city.
- Promoter accounts: Email address and display name to manage accounts and event submissions.
- Event submissions: Event details for publication on our site.
- Analytics: Non-identifiable usage data (page views, clicks, device type) to improve the site.
- System logs: IP address and browser type, kept briefly for security and diagnostics.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
How we use it
To send weekly event digests, manage promoter accounts, publish event listings, monitor site performance, and meet legal obligations. We never sell or share your data for marketing.

We use functional analytics cookies only — no advertising or behavioural tracking.
Storage and overseas transfers
Data is securely hosted with trusted third-party providers using industry-standard security. Some processing may occur outside New Zealand (e.g. Australia, US). By using BeatBoard you consent to these transfers.
